# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
02 - Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl; set aside.
03 - Using an electric mixer on medium speed, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, approximately 3 minutes.
04 - Add honey to the creamed mixture and mix thoroughly until fully incorporated.
05 - Beat in eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully combined before adding the next. Stir in vanilla extract.
06 - Add the dry ingredients in three additions, alternating with milk. Begin and finish with the dry ingredients, mixing gently until just combined to avoid overmixing.
07 - Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top evenly.
08 - Place the pan in the oven and bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center emerges clean.
09 - Allow cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
10 - Melt honey and butter together, then brush the warm cake surface to add a glossy finish.
